Our focus is on addressing the maternal health crisis by empowering the next generation in healthcare, education, and community support fields. We offer three programs: scholarships for Crispus Attucks High School seniors, sponsorships for incoming Kentucky State University freshmen, and scholarships for birth workers. These initiatives aim to cultivate a diverse network dedicated to improving maternal and infant well-being.
Attucks Achievers
Overview:
The Attucks Achievers Scholarship supports current seniors at Crispus Attucks High School. The program offers resources and guidance to help students transition to college successfully.
The scholarship provides financial assistance to help cover the initial costs of college which could include: tuition, books, and other essentials. Additionally, recipients will gain access to a supportive community of foundation board members and peers, dedicated to helping them navigate the challenges of college life and achieve their academic goals.

KSU Rising Stars
Overview:
The Rising Stars Sponsorship program is dedicated to supporting rising freshmen at Kentucky State University. Our goal is to provide holistic support to students as they transition into college life and continue through their academic journey. Priority will be given to students either pursuing degrees in STEM fields and those who are first-generation college students.
The program offers a care package in either the fall or spring semester, filled with essential items and goodies to support your well-being and academic success. You will also gain access to ongoing guidance from foundation board members, who can assist with both educational and personal matters.
Requirements:
Rising KSU Freshman
Primary resident of Indianapolis, IN.

Birth Work for Life
Overview:
The Birth Work for Life program supports current Life University Chiropractic students by providing financial assistance for certifications that enhance their skills in maternal health and birth-related services. The program is designed to empower students to become leaders in chiropractic care, doula services, and maternal health advocacy.
This scholarship aims to reduce financial barriers and provide resources that enable students to pursue certifications such as the Webster Technique Certification, Birth/Postpartum Doula Certification, and Childbirth Educator Certification. Recipients will also have access to a supportive network of mentors and peers, fostering professional growth and leadership development
Requirements:
Current Life University Chiropractic Student
Be intending to use funds for the Webster Technique certification, Birth/Postpartum Doula certification, and/or Childbirth Educator certification
